[Miss Wine 2021 Aichi] Kaho Izumi appointed as Ambassador for Lucia's!Chiyoda , a wine lover and active as Miss Wine , talked to us about her activities and wine while using some of Lucia's wine goods!
What made you start to like wine?
Chiyoda's family home is a shrine, and it seems that what inspired her was a festival at the shrine.
"My parents' house is a shrine, and I am a licensed priest. We have a festival every two years, and the wine we drink with the locals at the festival is so delicious that it made me want to study wine!"
Apparently they sometimes perform services during festivals.
I would love to meet the beautiful and elegant priest at Chiyoda Shrine!
He started golf and became even more of a wine lover
He started playing golf as a result of his work.
She is currently working as the "Monthly Golf Today Image Girl."
"I started playing golf and made more friends who also play golf. A lot of people who like golf also like wine. I've started drinking more wine than ever before."
Chiyoda's Instagram account shows her enjoying golf in cute and stylish golf wear.
When our staff told us, "I want to play golf someday!"
"Start by going to lessons. Golf is fun, so make the most of it!"
He said with a big smile.
How did you become Miss Wine?
Miss Wine 's mission is to convey the charm of wine to many people.
The competition is held every year in Japan, where women who are fond of wine and pursue "beauty" both in appearance and within are selected.
Chiyoda is the 2019 Miss Wine Finalist Grand Prix winner!
"I've been working as a celebrity for a long time, and I wanted to become someone who could share the things I love, wine and golf.
I qualified as a wine expert in 2018, and when I found out about the recruitment for Miss Wine in 2019, I thought, "I have to do it!" That's what I thought."
What does Miss Wine do?
"The basis of our activities is to make wine known to as many people as possible.
The previous Miss Wine's role was to visit Japanese wine producers, promote Japanese wine, and contribute to regional revitalization.
However, the coronavirus outbreak began in my generation, so we were no longer able to visit local areas.
His current activities include writing a column for the magazine "Wine Kingdom" and teaching at the "Academie du Vin."
Additionally, we have teamed up with JapanWine.jp and have begun visiting wineries across Japan.
Recently, I visited a winery in Yamanashi."
Chiyoda-san, what wine do you recommend?
Chiyoda posts wine introductions and other information on his blog every day as part of his 365 Days of Wine Challenge .
I asked him what wine he recommended!
"There's so much, what should we do?
For example, if you are drinking with family or friends, we recommend Koshu, which is made from a grape variety native to Japan.
This white wine has won an award at the world's most prestigious wine judging committee and is made from varieties that are entirely original to Japan.
Strong acidity and a clean, refreshing taste.
The change in flavor from the moment you open it until you finish drinking it is amazing! I think it's a wine that goes well with Japanese food."
What are your impressions after using Lucia's products?
" The shower aerator makes the taste mellower and the bitterness less bitter!
I think this product helps the aroma of wine spread more easily."
What kind of work or activities do you want to do in the future?
"Since I started teaching at the Académie du Vin, I have had the opportunity to meet people like Osamu Hayashi.
I want to become a charismatic teacher!
We will continue to promote shrines, wine and golf to as many people as possible."
Chiyoda-san is elegant, has a lovely smile and gives off a bright impression.
It was a very peaceful atmosphere to talk to!
I'm sure he will continue to enjoy wine and golf while also pursuing many other exciting endeavors.
We hope that you will continue to enjoy a more delicious wine life with Lucia's products.
We will be continually updating you on Lucia's activities as an ambassador , so please look forward to it.
